... Mangala Vallis ...



Il nuovo album dei Mangala Vallis sarà un concept composto da sette tracce. Il titolo è"Microsolco" e racconta la storia di un hacker che il 21 dicembre 2012, inserisce nella rete un virus capace di cancellare tutte le memorie digitali del pianeta. E' questa la vera fine del mondo di cui tanto si era parlato, ma è l'inizio di una nuova era...		The new Mangala Vallis album is going to be a concept with seven tracks. The title will be "Microsolco" (Microgroove) and it tells the story of a hacker who on the 21st December 2012 infects the internet with a virus that will eat up all the digital memories and archives of the planet. This is the real end of the world of which everybody has been talking about, the end of this world...but it is the beginnning of a new era...

E' con grande piacere che annunciamo che Roberto Tiranti si è unito ai Mangala Vallis e sarà il nuovo cantante bassista del gruppo. La sua storia musicale è costellata di importanti esperienze: nel 1996 entra a far parte dei New Trolls con 400 concerti nell'arco di sette anni. Dal 1997 è il cantante dei Labyrinth, gruppo power/prog metal col quale ha registrato sei album ed un mini CD, partecipando a tour in Europa, Sud America e Asia. Artista poliedrico, nel 2003 veste i panni del faraone Ramsete II nel musical I dieci comandamenti. Vanta collaborazioni con personaggi quali Ken Hensley (Uriah Heep) Ian Paice e Glenn Hughes (Deep Purple), Paolo Siani (Nuova Idea), Mark Boals e Virgil Donati.		It is with great pleasure that we announce that Roberto Tiranti joined Mangala Vallis and will become our new lead singer/bass player. His musical background is rich and various: in 1996 he becomes a member of New Trolls playing 400 live shows in seven years. Since 1997 is the lead singer of Labyrinth, a power/prog metal band that released six albums and one mini CD, among tours in Europe, Latin America and Asia. A poliedric artist, in 2003 Roverto played Ramsete II in the musical I dieci comandamenti (the Ten Commandments). He also collaborated with Ken Hensley (Uriah Heep) Ian Paice and Glenn Hughes (Deep Purple), Paolo Siani (Nuova Idea), Mark Boals and Virgil Donati.

Dopo tanto silenzio, rieccoci a raccontarvi di noi. In tutto questo tempo sono successe tante cose, cambiate alcune idee su come avrebbe dovuto essere il successore di “Lycanthrope”, cambiato il progetto di come doveva essere sviluppato e composto. Da quando ci siamo messi a scriverlo, più di due anni fa, molte cose sono mutate, molti punti dati per fermi, crollati, molte intenzioni ribaltate. Questo è accaduto perché le circostanze della vita cambiano e ti cambiano, e perché per quanto tu possa fare programmi, è sempre il destino che ha l’ultima parola. Così l’unica cosa che è rimasta immutata è il titolo dell’album. La sua genesi è stata molto complessa tanto da far prendere a Bernardo e Riccardo la decisione di uscire dai Mangala Vallis, scelta dolorosa per loro che l’hanno fatta ma anche per noi che l’abbiamo analizzata, discussa e alla fine accettata. Sicuramente anche questo evento, farà del nuovo Mangala Vallis e del gruppo stesso qualcosa di diverso da ciò che c’era stato prima, ma la mutazione di tutto era già iniziata dal momento in cui Cristiano aveva preso il posto di Enzo alle tastiere. Le cause di un addio sono sempre complesse e appartengono alla sfera privata di chi le deve affrontare, così per rispetto di ogni protagonista di questa storia, ci limitiamo ai fatti senza inoltrarci nei sentimenti. Presto vi sapremo dare più dettagli sulla nuova voce, sul nuovo bassista del gruppo e sul work in progress dell'album. Con affetto MV		After such a long time here we are again! So many things have changed so far... as well as our ideas on how the following of the Lycanthrope project ought to be developed and composed. Since we have started writing for it, 2 years ago, many things that were given for granted, collapsed, and many intentions have been inverted. This happened because things in life change and make you change too, and as far as you may plan, only destiny has the last word. So the only thing which remained unchanged is the title of the album. Its birth has been so complex that it even made Bernardo and Riccardo take the decision to leave Mangala Vallis. A choice that was painful for them and sad for those of us left, who analyzed, discussed and accepted it. This event is making the new Mangala Vallis a different band from the past one, but actually the mutation began when Cristiano replaced Enzo at keyboards. The reasons of a goodbye are always complex and belong to the private life of those who have to face them. So, for respect of each protagonist of this story, we'll stick to the facts, staying out of the emotional aspects.
